01 — What it is

A swap-in second lens.

The Night Lens is the after-dark companion to the standard HINDSIGHT certified lens. It is engineered for urban riders in dusk, dawn, and full night conditions. The frame stays the same — Artemis or Morpheus. The lens swaps.

When the light fails, vision becomes the governing variable. The Night Lens is engineered to keep forward clarity and rearward awareness intact when ambient light is the limiting factor.

02 — Who it is for

Riders who don't stop when the light does.

A second lens for the wearer who already owns a HINDSIGHT direct-line frame and rides in conditions where ambient light is the limiting factor.

  • Night commuters

Riders moving through city traffic after the light drops.

  • Dusk and dawn riders

Commuters whose journey begins or ends in the transition hours.

  • Urban riders in low light

Anyone needing forward clarity and rear-view awareness when street lighting is the primary light source.

03 — The research

Answers

The Night Lens, explained.

What is the Night Lens?

A swap-in second lens engineered for after-dark riding. It replaces the standard daytime lens in either the Artemis or Morpheus frame. Sold separately.

Does the Night Lens fit both Artemis and Morpheus?

Yes. The Night Lens is engineered to fit both HINDSIGHT direct-line frames. One frame, two lenses, two light conditions.

Does the Night Lens work in total darkness?

HINDSIGHT lenses are passive optical systems. They use the light that is present. In total darkness no lens can generate vision — the rear-view field works wherever there is any ambient light, including moonlight, streetlight, and low urban lighting.

How do I change the lens?

Hold the frame and gently press the lens until it pops out. Store the removed lens in the provided pouch. Insert the new lens, aligning the raised bumps with the grooves in the frame. Ensure the mirror bend lines are parallel; adjust by rotating the lens if necessary. Wiggle the nose bridge gently to confirm the lens bumps are properly seated. If the mirror looks blurry, realign the bumps into the correct groove.

Is the Night Lens included with Artemis or Morpheus?

No. Both Artemis and Morpheus ship with the standard HINDSIGHT certified daytime lens. The Night Lens is a separate purchase.
